Rapid Ambulance operates as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (including Section 43A and Section 79 Intermediary Rules). We process personal data solely for providing life-saving emergency dispatch, live tracking, and healthcare coordination.
(a) Identity & Contact Data: Full name, mobile number, emergency contact numbers, and email address. (b) Real-Time Geospatial Location: Precise GPS location data collected continuously during active trip requests and tracking to enable emergency vehicle routing. (c) Health & Triage Vitals (Optional): Patient age, medical condition summary, and oxygen/life-support requirements provided voluntarily during booking to notify hospital emergency rooms en-route.
Your data is used strictly to: • Match and dispatch the nearest available ambulance to your GPS location. • Provide live tracking to emergency family contacts and hospital triage units. • Share necessary patient details with the assigned ambulance driver and EMT staff. We DO NOT sell, rent, or monetize your personal health or location data to third-party advertisers. Data is stored on MeitY-empaneled secure cloud data centers located physically within the territory of India.
Under the DPDP Act 2023, you possess the right to: (i) Access a summary of your personal data processed by us. (ii) Request correction, completion, or updating of your personal data. (iii) Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing at any time. (iv) Seek grievance redressal from our designated Grievance Officer.
